If you are using Amazon S3 Storage Task in your SSIS package and run a package from SQL Server SSIS Catalog, you may encounter these errors:
- Source Amazon Connection is not specified
- Failed to load task "<TASK NAME>"
It can happen when you are deploying packages to SSIS Catalog individually instead of deploying a whole project.
The solution could be updating SQL Server. E.g. Update SQL Server 2016 with Cumulative Update 12.
If the solution doesn't help, then deploy a whole project instead of an individual package. If you want to deploy a single package and cannot deploy a whole project, then create a stub project with that single package.
