Question:
How to use ODBC PowerPack on Linux Box (i.e. Informatica instance for Linux)
Answer:
In our previous posts we have mentioned ways to read REST / JSON / XML in informatica on Windows here. Unfortunately there is no direct install option for Linux due to very high cost of writing drivers for Linux OS. Also many User interface elements we like to provide for our drivers not easily available on Linux OS. However we are actively looking for options to provide support for Linux and MacOS in future.
So for now you must use MS SQL ODBC Driver for Linux to connect to Data gateway Running on Windows Box.

Many use cases of Data Gateway is mentioned here.

Method#1
Informatica on Linux ---> ZappySys Data gateway (on Windows) ---> API Sources
If Linux ODBC Driver for MSSQL cant connect to ZappySys Data gateway from Informatica for some reason then you can always use FREE SQL Expression Edition and use Linked Server approach.
Method#2
Informatica on Linux --> SQL Server (Linked Server) ---> ZappySys Data gateway (on Windows) ---> API Sources
